Yes, I've been saying this since the war started. The best thing for everyone is obviously no war, but the second best is a long, hard, and bitter war for your enemy, especially if you don't have to be the one to fight it. I don't see Ukraine winning this conflict in the long run, though, and if it goes on for too long, we'll see bitterness on the Ukrainian side directed at those they felt should have helped. Fighting to the last Ukrainian will eventually make an enemy of them imo.
