I mean I know people value your uptime, but isn't that simply a case of getting the order in writing, a quick CC'd email to the CEO and then putting the site offline as advertised? Some people just don't learn any other way.
- Sohcahtoa82 1y agoAh yes, malicious compliance. My favorite! The thing is, I wouldn't actually have the authority to make the change. I'd have to convince someone from DevOps/SRE to do it, and they were certainly not gonna do it.
