Tough Title City - A video game in your browser's title bar
- tvdw 14y agoAs lovely as it is, this will probably only work on Mac as both Windows and Linux don't support Emoji
- tjdetwiler 14y agoIt is rather confusing with just a string of boxes in the title bar.
- DLWormwood 14y agoAnd only current Macs to boot... it doesn't work under Snow Leopard. EDIT: Looking at his home page, it’s pretty clear he is designing towards tablets first, and other machine types second…
- TobbenTM 14y agoI do not understand how this game works. All I get is a lot of squares (Opera, IE9, Chrome)

- Skalman 14y agoIn Chrome 18, Opera 12.01 and Firefox 16 I also only get boxes. All on Ubuntu 12.04.

- stefs 14y agoit's all (unicode) boxes, no graphics. chrome 21.0.1180.79 + ff 14.0.1 on mac os x
- namzo 14y agoI use chrome 21.0.1180.79 on mac os x, and it works fine here.

- rolandboon 14y agoIn Chrome 21 (Win7-64) I only see squares moving in title bar In FF14 (Win7-64) the characters show, but are black.
- dt7 14y agoDoesn't work for me either in Aurora (Firefox 16) or Chrome 21 beta (on Windows 7).
- Shivetya 14y agoI get the cop on the left and "squares" in the tab. While a cute idea it is not all that interesting as it sits in a single tab with Firefox. So the whole display is very tight as I have eight tabs. Then there is the whole, just spam spacebar for the win.
- julianz 14y agoYep just squares here for a few seconds and then game over (Chrome 21.0.1180.79 on Win7 x64)
- xmmx 14y agoI think it's because the author uses apple icons, so it doesn't render at all on windows machines.

- TazeTSchnitzel 14y agoThat's weird, I'm fairly sure JS strings are Unicode.

- TazeTSchnitzel 14y agoNice idea, but I can't help being reminded of the old days of JavaScript, where the status bar was abused for scrolling text marquees.
- computerbob 14y agoI also only get squares. But if you hold down the space key you get endless amount of points :)
