In several media places it has been pointed out, the War could probably end quickly if Hamas returned all hostages and surrendered? - Instead Hamas has stated they sacrifice their own people?
- throw310822 1y agoWhat is clear at least is that returning all hostages would not end the massacre, given that Israel has broken a ceasefire that was resulting in their liberation and refused multiple others. At the moment the explicitly stated goal of Netanyahu, his government, and- we must assume- the majority of Israelis is the ethnic cleansing followed by the annexation of Gaza. On the other hand, this is not a surprise for anyone who knows the history of the conflict and is capable of joining the dots: Israel's ultimate goal has always that of ethnically cleansing Palestine to occupy it entirely.
