I know Google+'s user stats can be misleading because gmail users are forced into Google+ accounts, but is there something similar going on with Outlook.com accounts? 10 million people in 14 days is pretty impressive.
- ark15 14y agoI (really) wonder how many of these 10 million share my use case - I haven't used my hotmail email since gmail came out. But it is still active as I use it to 'try out' all these MS services when they come out. The day Outlook.com was released, I quickly logged in, checked it out, shared the news with some friends, logged out. Haven't logged back in since then (and don't plan to)
- barista 14y agoYou have to explicitly request outlook.com address. Don't you have to log in to your G+ account to use any Google services (that need an account)
- apawloski 14y ago> Don't you have to log in to your G+ account to use any Google services (that need an account) It's more like "a G+ account is associated with the google services account you use." You still log in to the service as you did before, but G+ just sitting up there in the corner, waiting.
- Dylan16807 14y agogmail users are forced into Google+ accounts What? I haven't heard of that and I have a gmail account (no G+).
