I like this but am still not a fan of the constant adding of things to the language. It’s starting to feel like a language designed by committee, which it basically is.
- Daishiman 2y agoIt's a feature that removes the need for hundreds of specialized template classes in various frameworks and is a generalization of an existing feature in a way that doesn't add much in the way of grammar. The net complexity reduction is a win here.

- smitty1e 2y agoPython is released annually and having some new juice helps advertise the language. Whether or not this is technically a swift call is in the eye of the beholder.
