Why do wealthy Americans only live as long as poor people in Western Europe?
- anovikov 2y agoAnd on top of it, a major source of mortality - smoking - is widely present in Europe and nearly absent in America. Drug addiction is also not a thing for the rich. The rich have no healthcare issues - in America if you can pay, healthcare is better than in Europe, and there are much fewer delays too, only problem is the price. So what it is after all? Maybe simply race?
- LinuxBender 2y agoJust one tiny opinion and maybe a tiny piece of the puzzle is that the US allow chemicals in foods that are banned in the EU. There is likely a lot more to it but I suspect that is at least one factor.
