My experience using Waymos in SF is that they are a little less expensive than an Uber. The other advantage is that you aren't stuck with a driver who hits on you or wants to share his opinions on the best way to slaughter goats.
- muchosandwich 2y agoI've also had an Uber driver talking about butchering various farm animals. I vastly prefer Waymo because it's a much calmer experience.

- seanmcdirmid 2y agoI had an Uber driver fall asleep on me while driving. I can’t wait for Waymo to come to Seattle.
- acchow 2y agoWaymo is significantly more expensive than UberX nowadays. People are happily willing to pay for the better experience (and tourists probably the novelty)
- dangus 2y agoAnd uber is profitable. Waymo burns $2 billion a year.
