Nice. By the way what’s a stoop?
- cbracketdash 2y ago"A small porch, platform, or staircase leading to the entrance of a house or building." - Google
- Dunan 2y agoI read this article and was pleased not just with the community development, but with the spread of the word "stoop" all the way out to the West Coast. It's a Dutch word brough over in the New Amsterdam era that was originally mostly confined to New York. It has the same etymology as English "step": https://www.etymonline.com/word/stoop https://www.etymonline.com/word/stoop
