I've been trying to post my Wordle score all morning. Before it was actually down, I noticed a glitch where I got a "Sorry, something went wrong" when I tried to mark my image as sensitive (as a spoiler).
This leads me to believe that they attack is using image metadata as a vector of attack.
- philomath_mn 2y agoAttack? Is there any other indication of an attack? There are many possible root causes which could explain what you observed.
- whatamidoingyo 2y agoWell, Elon just confirmed it. > There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against X. > We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved.
- neuroelectron 2y agoIt's very typical for a DDoS to target some specific feature like this deep in the UI that might have been overlooked for rate limiting.
