My main take away from this thread is to never take up mountain biking.
- myself248 2y agoI noticed this years ago. First thing two cyclists do upon meeting each other is compare injuries. It's like dogs sniffing each other's butts.
- ArlenBales 2y agoMountain bikers becoming injured isn't a question of IF, but WHEN. If you have a coworker in their 30s or 40s who is just starting to get into mountain biking (a common midlife crisis hobby), expect them to have a MTB related injury within the next year.
- cooljacob204 2y agoDamn I hit 30 this year and planned to buy one.
- yoyohello13 2y agoMountain Biking just seems dangerous in general. I do a lot of trail running, and at this point I feel like my most likely source of injury is from a mountain biker colliding with me.
- imp0cat 2y agoIt's not that bad. And if you start early in your life, any injuries that might happen to you will heal much faster.
