Sounds like it could potentially be a cheaper (and maybe less fire prone) battery where weight and volume is less of a concern - maybe batteries for residential / commercial buildings or grid storage ? Possible also easier recycling - especially locally close to the battery. Even compared to LFP (much higher cycle longevity than the article quotes) these sound like they retain energy capacity much better
