I didn't want to live through a trade war with the largest economy on the planet. What were they thinking?

  I think it's a jungle now. Everyone fights for oneself and grabs whatever he can take. It's going to get worse in the next decades until a new world order emerges. Damn I'm just a little over 40.

    > until a new world order emerges. and in most new world orders, you're gonna be worse off than before. It's a miracle that the US superpowerdom in the cold war (and post cold war) made improvements in large spades for the west. I think this has made people complacent, thinking that changing world order is gonna be an improvement.

      Better or worse, definitely going to be worse in the interim years :/ And that could be 20 years.
