Musk proposes ignoring all regulation
- forgotTheLast 2y agoObviously not constitutional. The question is what will the two other branches of government do about it?
- bigfatkitten 2y agoCongress will do nothing, but I don't know what capacity the courts have to act. Challenging a regulatory action is one thing. Fighting a decision by a regulator to not take action is another matter entirely.
- Hatrix 2y agoMake anarchy great again.
- bigfatkitten 2y agoI'm sure the SEC will be at the top of his list for a regulatory "cleanup", considering his colourful history with that agency.
- kccoder 2y agoWhy stop there? Let's all ignore all laws, rules, regulations, norms, morals, ethics, civil rights, edicts, codes of conduct, decency, ... What a world we'd have then! Absolute freedom for all! Want to own a human? Go for it! Want a child bride? Be my guest! Want to build a nuclear bomb in your basement to exact vengeance on your neighbor for having the audacity to suggest your lawn needed mowing? That's your right! And even if it isn't, who is going to stop you? The government? What government?!
- gregjor 2y agoHas worked for Musk so far. And Trump. Seems like a path to success.
