I deny it. Who wants to have a conversation with a computer that’s just stringing bullshit together in the way it thinks sounds most plausibly human? I’d rather talk to… a human.

- dcrazy 2y agoMillions of people used AOL but it was not the killer app for the Internet. We are at the beginning of the LLM lifecycle and have yet to figure out what niche it will best fill.
- MichaelZuo 2y agoBased on what arguments…? Any HN user can declare any opinion whatsoever regarding “killer apps” but that doesn’t automatically make their opinions true or meaningful.
