Hamas did not lose any friends the last few times they reneged. I think both sides agree this peace will just last until Hamas can rearm, but I just think both sides agree that's as good a deal as either is getting.
- bpodgursky 2y agoIran wasn't on the brink of a nuclear bomb. Gulf states had infinite money to waste, now oil prices have peaked as the world decarbonizes. None of the traditional friends have the time or energy for their noise, if they cause major problems.
