I wish there was a better way to protect my own data from being digested by AI programs. I know the internet is supposed to be 'open', but if I had known that AI would come along and "digest" all the data on it, I would have done things differently. Already I've stopped uploading many things that I would have otherwise uploaded and moved to different, closed platforms for sharing stuff.
- walterbell 2y agoThis is happening at both the individual and corporate level, as data is pulled behind access control. Platforms based on public data, like Twitter, may have a home court advantage since their culture is aligned with platform LLMs that can provide answers based on real-time data.
