Mandate QMS and fix it. It’s 2024. Why do TVs flash and stutter switching modes? It’s pathetic. Quick Media Switching partially fixes this. It makes TVs switch their frame rates fast, so you can go from 24 to 30 to 60 without noticing it. Nice right? But that’s it. Need to switch resolution or go from normal to HDR? QMS doesn’t support that. Back to black screens. Come on. This should be table stakes. I didn’t see it mentioned in the article at all though.
