It would have been nice if the authors quantified the key dimensions they were solving for... How many production sites, how many products able to be produced per site, how many orders to be computed per day....
Without those, it's hard to get a sense for whether particular design choices were really critical or not.
- limaoscarjuliet 2y agoSame thought here. With a lot of production sites this approach makes sense, but with few it does look like overkill.
- mzi 2y agoWith Canva having 5500 employees, I guess those numbers are substantial.
