Everyone remember to go thank President Carter before he passes (promoting solar before it was cheap/efficient)
BTW it is really neat that BlueSky allows noscript to work by simply displaying the text of a post despite the "javascript needed" warning.
- jmclnx 2y ago>Everyone remember to go thank President Carter before he passes Yes, I remember when he started this and young me I thought it was cool. I also remember Reagan ripped solar off of the White House and made sure "green" energy support ended or never got started. That alone ensured we would end up where we are now. Now, the new Admin coming in will probably do the same, promote Fossil Fuels and end subsidizes that exist on Solar and Wind. This will hand what remains of the US Solar Industry to China. Plus with the tariffs he wants to introduce, it will probably kill off green energy here in the US.

- johnea 2y agock2 can you say exactly which js noscript is blocking? I block all js and I'm only seeing the blue butterfly, no text. In the twitverse, I could at least read the post with js disabled, but I'm not getting there on bluesky...
