Say ship hits a sub, or some crew mistake causes a fire or damages....is that insured?
- nradov 2y agoNo. National governments almost never purchase insurance for any asset. If it's lost then they just buy another one. A no regular commercial insurer would write a policy for a military vessel that's expected to go in harm's way.
