The most hilarious thing is to see Elon raging against immigrants and then move first thing to support H1Bs

  He never raged against immigrants overall. Just against illegal ones. There's no contradiction here. Elon many times called for reform of H1B towards simplification and much higher quotas, or abolition of quotas overall. And i think it's right - illegal immigration should be simply physically impossible - you try to cross the border in the wrong place, you get a bullet. That is possible and must be done exactly this way. Legal immigration must be streamlined and simplified because all Western nations need population.

      I said "Western" not meaning that other nations don't need it. Only that they don't get a shot getting those people anyway as everyone wants to live in the West. But, everyone is experiencing birthrate decline and before long every single nation will be in a state of significant to severe demographic crisis. Immigration is only a temporary solutions though, till societies reform to get over the idea of "government babies" who are coming and are entirely inevitable.

Definitely good news for making housing prices more affordable in DC, Virginia and Maryland.

  That's funny, but only ~1/5th of federal employees work in DC, and most of those are for agencies that will be politically untenable for Trump to cut, like the DoD.
