- steveBK123 2y agoI can't believe they named this thing DOGE. We live in the dumbest timeline. The other thing all these "shrink the government" right wingers seem to miss is that the vast majority of government staffing is in all the departments that red blooded chest pounding right wingers profess to love. You can't cut 80% of government employees when upward of 70% are defense, homeland security, veterans affairs, etc. But anyway I won't let logic get win the way of small government libertarians. edit: Obviously there is waste in government (and any other large human organization), but I simply point out the waste is no where near the scale these guys always allege. Not even the right order of magnitude.

- deburo 2y agoIt’s the first time I’ve seen the number of employees as a concern, the focus is actually the size of the budget and its deficit.
