It seems like these are manufacturing defects and not design defects. I thought intel was great with QA! I can't wait to hear what failed.

- burnte 2y agoIt was microcode issues and also a contaminated fab.
- PittleyDunkin 2y agoPresumably microcode issues can be patched, right?
- burnte 2y agoCorrect and there are final patches already released for the affected lines. The CPUs that die Intel is replacing with an extended warranty.
