North Korean soldiers who have deployed to Russia struggling with pornography
- bediger4000 2y agoAmusing, but thinly sourced. A tweet mentioning a "usually reliable" source.
- kotaKat 2y agoTask and Purpose actually reached out to the Pentagon. "As entertaining as that sounds, I can’t confirm any North Korean internet habits or virtual ‘extracurriculars’ in Russia." --Army Lt. Col. Charlie Dietz https://taskandpurpose.com/culture/north-korea-troops-russia-internet/ https://taskandpurpose.com/culture/north-korea-troops-russia...
- Isamu 2y agoSo that means some of them were issued cell phones as part of their deployment? Huh.
- unsupp0rted 2y agoIt's not hard to buy a cheap mobile phone along the way. A lot of soldiers, both Russian and Ukrainian, carry 2 or 3 each. The NK soldiers could barter for it, if not outright buy it with cash. There are ways to get both cash and mobile phones that don't involve being issued those things officially.
