IIRC food deserts are a demand issue, not supply. The reason healthy food doesn't exist in those neighborhoods is because it closed because people didn't go there.
- SpicyLemonZest 2y agoI've heard that too, but even if true it's still a problem for the minority of people in the area who would have liked to get fresh veggies and such.
