I concur. I’ve used ORMs in certain projects, but iterating and optimizing them later on became untenable. I’ve learned my lesson — all my new projects forgo ORMs by default.
- Daishiman 2y agoHow? ORM logic is as simple or as complicated as the underlying queries and results. In 15 years of building web apps with Python ORMs this has never been a problem across many, many different teams.
