I have a feeling a lot of these people needed to evaluate what was going on in their life, beyond the cellphone tower they think is shooting 5g death beams at them. A therapist would never be lacking of work in that town.
- Suppafly 2y ago>A therapist would never be lacking of work in that town. If a therapist could fix them, they wouldn't need to move to this town in the first place. These aren't serious people operating in the realm of reality.
- science4sail 2y agoAs long as they think that they're getting fixed, then that's recurring revenue! You can blame any regressions on the EM emissions of the outside world.
- tolerance 2y ago> These aren't serious people operating in the realm of reality. Does anyone have a whitelist for what groups of people we're allowed to say this about?
- K0balt 2y agoWell, you can borrow mine.
- wtallis 2y agoTrying to use a whitelist approach for that problem would be indulging in the kind of lack of critical thinking that allows people to believe they're allergic to WiFi, or to take such people seriously.
- dingnuts 2y agoI get what you're saying but the GP is saying they are literally suffering from psychosis. We should definitely be able to say psychosis sufferers are not operating in the realm of reality; it's tautological
- drewcoo 2y agoI don't think we can say "whitelist" anymore.
- nixosbestos 2y ago"people need hobbies" applies to so, so, so, so, so many folks who have nothing going in their lives, or no locus of control, beyond trying to find external Boogeymen who are responsible for just all their lives woes. (Left non-specific because I know where I am)
