Watch YouTube videos on the album artwork of Windows music control bar
- jayantbhawal 2y agoCool! I mean, I don't think I'll ever use it, but it's pretty cool nonetheless! :)
- etherdream 2y agoThanks! This idea is really impractical for playing videos, but it's feasible for displaying some animations, or even mini-games.
- genocidicbunny 2y agoIs it terrible that my first thought wasn't either of those, but ads?
- 71bw 2y ago...yet another feature I thoroughly enjoyed mercilessly slain by Microsoft in Win11.

- Topfi 2y agoWas initially surprised to see the implementation of album artworks between Windows and iOS is so similar that this solution works on both. Thinking about it for a few seconds, it makes total sense that this is standardized, was simply something I never considered. Neat showcase and honestly, can see there being a purpose to implementing something like this for video platforms, though it'd likely be better to do so as part of said standard.
- zorrn 2y agoYep also works on MacOS!
