That requirement doesn't apply to most apps even though it says it does. Zoom/Teams/Slack all pick up the permissions immediately.

- OJFord 2y agoSlack seems to randomly lose microphone access (whether permissions or not) requiring restart anyway, so doesn't really help. And unless that's really recent, no, I have colleagues drop out of Teams meetings to enable microphone or screen sharing access all the time.
- ezfe 2y agoYes because it says you have to. The system claims it won't work, but it works fine.
