So, QUERY is a POST but with GET semantics? Sounds like GraphQL won.

  It's way more than GraphQL. Searching and analyzing large things is a real need. It won't go away by changing your protocol.

  GraphQL queries are a specific usecase for HTTP QUERY. (Today they rely on HTTP POST.)
