Civil Eats: Our Reporting Is Now Free for Everyone
- curtisblaine 2y agoOk, what is this? I see an article with its content blurred and a sign up wall on top.
- Brajeshwar 2y agoThen, did you like, “What was that?” and tried refreshing/scrolling up to see. Now, it works.
- curtisblaine 2y agoOn mobile it remains blurred even if you scroll, unfortunately.
- WithinReason 2y agonope, it stays blurred forever
- ggm 2y agoGo to the grill bars menu top left and explore
- archi42 2y agoSeems the content is blurred for a few seconds (or until scrolling over it?). I get the joke and think it's funny, but also found that it might miss the mark by confusing people. Maybe they should have done it for the first paragraph only. Edit: The timing seems to depend on their page/CDN load speed. Edit 2: On Desktop, with a hot cache, it's blurred for about 500ms. I only tried a few times, but cold cache can be as much as 5s. While it don't like parent's "tone" (as did many others, considering it's flagged now), I get the confusion.
- curtisblaine 2y agoIt might be depending on page load - on my mobile browser with not great connection it stays blurred.
