- timr 2y agoWell golly. I guess they should name it something more maudlin. That will fix everything. "Engine of oppression", perhaps? There's definitely a delicious irony that Amtrak is about the furthest thing from an "empire" that you can find in America, though. They don't even own the tracks they run on.
