Many banking apps won't work on custom roms, which can be painful. Open source OSes are getting cornered. Just like self hosted email servers that are getting blocked by many email providers nowadays
- hellojesus 2y agoThe issue is that a lot of apps are starting to require Play Integrity (used to be SafetyNet). Thankfully my banks haven't made the move, and I happily use grapheneos with a secondary profile that has Google play services installed.
