I tend to use https://www.lightningmaps.org https://www.lightningmaps.org because it is less visually noisy but I believe it is ultimately sourced from Blitzortung. I unplug my computer whenever there is lightning nearby.
- joezydeco 2y agoI've found lightningmaps.org to be somewhat degraded over the last few years. The web app sometimes just sits there and shows nothing. And blitzortung, the parent data source, still has the US divided into six chunks with no better resolution on the map.
