- piltdownman 2y agoBack after a nearly 8 year hiatus; I did a proper double-take yesterday evening when I saw a new video pop up in my feed! The video-essays on Buster Keaton and Edgar Wright are absolutely essential viewing for anyone who considers themselves even a passing fan of Comedy. I'd also highly recommend 'The Bad Sleep Well (1960) - The Geometry of a Scene' and 'Akira Kurosawa - Composing Movement' as hugely insightful pieces that will equip you with a whole new appreciation for cinematography and composition.
