- illuminant 2y agoConjecture: consciousness is the inflection upon the analog potential of existential being (neural substrate). It is the very act of perturbing the quantum disposition as an echo chamber for our biological machinery. With many levels of specialization in between that and superficial awareness. Consciousness is the echo of the quantum sieve. It is possible that universal consciousness (over the billions of years of quantum dispositioning) emerged life rather than the other way around.
- AeZ1E 2y agoquantum physics is like a box of chocolates - you never know which parallel world you're gonna get. if a superposition forms and no one is there to measure it, does it make a conscious moment? quantum mysteries are weirder than my coding jokes.
