I'm in the UK. Why would I want to use a phone to browse a forum or hit your traffic camera thing?
- nomel 2y agoThe purpose of this site is to take a picture of yourself using a traffic camera. This requires that you're in front of the traffic camera, which requires that you're physically in traffic, which probably wouldn't have a desktop computer involved. But, if you want to see it, you can set your user agent to some mobile agent. In Safari, this is done with the menu: Developer -> User Agent -> Safari - iOS xx.x
- raldi 2y agoThe purpose of this site is to make a political statement, which would be better achieved by at least showing desktop visitors an example screenshot.
- seoulmetro 2y agoThis is their way around non-convertable interaction. They don't want PCs because PCs won't use the idea properly. They hide it behind the idea of a laptop in traffic which is disingenuous but oh well. Probably saves them a lot of headache and even costs for the site. I wish they were a bit more honest though.
- jmclnx 2y agoThat is all well an good, but I will not browses sites with a spyware device :) https://www.networkworld.com/article/721767/software-cell-phones-are-stalin-s-dream-says-free-software-movement-founder.html https://www.networkworld.com/article/721767/software-cell-ph...
