It's "Ponzi" if it requires an ever increasing future population. In reality we don't, the population can stabilise at some time in the future, there may be some economic shock along the way, but we'll be fine.
- sokoloff 2y agoI sure hope it stabilizes at some point in the future. The world population has more than doubled during my lifetime, which seems fundamentally unsustainable if everyone is to have even half the resources consumed by the current western lifestyle.
