- amelius 2y ago__Other__ consumers are the problem because they collectively decide what I can buy. But you can just as easily say that the free market is making us poison ourselves. It is a matter of perspective.
- illuminant 2y agoLike putting sugar in everything, even things sugar has no business being in.
- nox101 2y agoYou're not wrong, but there is societal momentum to eating too much too. Common portions in the USA are ridiculous compared to say Japan. The size of a cookie, a pastry, a donut, a bag of chips, a candy bar, a meal, etc... It's much easier to avoid eating too much if at every opportunity too much food is not being put in front of you.
