You know how you get nice augmented reality? This is how you get nice augmented reality. This gets interesting when you look at building it into windshields/visors/lenses/etc.
- arnaudsm 2y agoHaving opaque pixels would be awesome though. Current waveguide displays like the hololens and magic leap can only display light, not darkness, which is a deal breaker for most content. Passthrough is the lazy solution for now, but requires an insane amount of over-engineering. Something always feels off, even with the overkill hardware of the Apple vision pro.
