- add-sub-mul-div 2y agoFortunately, more people want/need to hammer nails responsibly than to commit violence with hammers. The problem is, the desire and means to lazily or cynically profit and misinform outweigh the positive applications here.
- alickz 2y agoI don't believe we've scratched the surface of positive applications of even the current tech, let alone any future tech I also believe Brandolini's Law will be a major problem, though not necessarily an impossible one > The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than that needed to produce it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandolini%27s_law https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandolini%27s_law I believe the value of curators and editors will skyrocket in the future
