Apple's full control of their app store is nothing for security, but great for regimes

Not a problem because iOS users can just sideload VPN apps of their choice ... oh wait they can't. Tell us again how Apple's tight restrictive control over iOS is good for YOUR security.

They had 99 options and of those they selected the one that costs a significant multiple of a monthly salary. > Wouldn't it be better if all phones had side loading capability by default? No, because I want to buy a phone that doesn't have side loading capability by default, so I choose Apple phones. The more doors you build into a system, the more likely someone is to use one of them with ease, maliciously.

      Do you really think so? In my experience most people just want to live their lives, do their thing. I don't think people would be fighting each other as much if it wasn't for the constant "see what these people/nations/terrorists are doing" reporting in the media.

  What's the point of listing Chinese companies on that site? China is supporting Russia.

    It's about stopping to do Business with Russia. Chinese companies would drop Putin support within 24 hours, if it would hurt their pocket.

      After what happened to Jack Ma, Chinese companies aren't going to go against Chinese government policy under any circumstances.
