- disgruntledphd2 2y agoIt was updated in 2010, but originally published in 2001. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJM200105243442106 https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJM200105243442106 is the original citation. (This is standard for Cochrane reviews, btw and definitely a good thing). I fundamentally disagree with the approach of this review and analysis (placebos are not a generic effect (apart from pain)) but love Cochrane in general).
