Someone has been saying this for every negative piece of AI news for the past four or five years. I'm going to go with "no".
- waynecochran 2y agoIt more the overshoot of expectations. Computer Vision, LLM's, etc ... are very cool but their usefulness is not as general as folks make the out to be. The idea the LLM's demonstrate emergent behavior was a huge overshoot. The bigger idea that we are near AGI and the end of the world is waaayyy overshoot.
