Ask HN: Would you cooperate with relative/friend who wants to make an AI "you"?
And if so, to what lengths would you go to make this AI version of you accurate?

- dave4420 2y agoNo. When they want to talk to me, they can talk to me. If they want to talk to me after I’m dead… they will need to come to terms with me being dead. I don’t see how a jumped up Markov chain pretending to be me will help with that.

- MacrohardDoors 2y agoWay too Black Mirror for me. You wouldn’t know what they were doing with ‘you’. That is kind of creepy. God, they could be putting ‘you’ into a sex doll and trying to have a piece of your personality in there. Is that what you want?
