Let's say I live in the US and I hate the US, if you're being handwavy about it. There's nothing weird about finding enough bad in a country to badmouth it in aggregate.
- tail_exchange 2y agoI find it weird because the criticism was not that Canada is bad, but that it's not exemplary in any way, as if that's a good reason to badmouth something. I don't find Slovenia exemplary in any way either, but that's not a good reason for me to badmouth it. Of course being perfect at everything is the ideal, but in practical terms, being mediocre (in the sense of being average) is... just fine? Just seems like a weird thing to say.
