In the article there’s some mention of the implications of ram and swap - this has caught me before - if you wget an iso to /tmp, you may be consuming more ram than expected. And sure, that’ll get swapped out to disk, but that might be unexpected if you’re intending on using ram for virtual machines etc, you may end up OOM because of this behaviour. I did this on Fedora, and it left a bad taste in my mouth.
