Solving Zelda with the Antithesis SDK
- intuitionist 2y agoAuthor here! Happy to answer any questions people might have about Zelda 1 or the upcoming SDK features.
- sdwr 2y agoI've seen a few of your posts, but never understood how your system works. Is it a random walk over a fully controlled program (with save states)?
- intuitionist 2y agoI’m not totally sure what you mean by “fully controlled”, but we make the system under test fully deterministic and then choose “save states” to randomly explore from; the upcoming SDK features are intended to give users more control over determining which save states are worth further exploration.
- antiantithesis 2y agoAm I the only one who’s tired of antithesis marketing passed off as HN blog content over and over and over ?
- wwilson 2y agoI'm obviously biased, but if I imagine a world where I had nothing to do with Antithesis, I actually do think an autonomous system playing and beating Zelda is the kind of thing I would enjoy reading about on HN.
- georgewsinger 2y agoThat's because it is! This was an interesting post. It's a shame it somehow lost its front-page status.
- terpimost 2y agoYour nickname is so cool, I love it. So what is wrong with a company talking about its tech product in their blog post? In this case it's a particular person from the company... If it's not interesting, it wouldn't be upvoted.
- ErikBjare 2y agoI think so. This is a great blog post.
