macOS is definitely not good or efficient software. Intellij can cause the WindowServer to freeze and crash and log you out, Windows atleast can handle crash of GPU driver/dwm. There are many more such examples.

- NayamAmarshe 2y agoOS level bugs always exist. What I was referring to, was privacy and trust.
- tim333 2y agoNothing's perfect. I've personally found macOS much more solid than Windows.
- threecheese 2y agoSounds like your problem is Java (ducks) But seriously, PyCharm with all the bells, whistles, and database connections hasn’t ever given me a problem. Sounds like a shitty experience though, the WM should protect you from crap like that.
